Lent Lunches – The last lunch (5 April) is at 12.30 p.m. at St Andrew’s Church House. £3.50 for frugal lunch of soup, bread, cheese, pickles, & coffee. Proceeds to Wellspring Counselling. Their Director will speak at this lunch.
Lent Course : Creative Spirit – Art
Explore your faith through reflection on artworks, biblical readings & prayer. Weeks 6th March – 3rd April inclusive. Various group venues available – sign-up sheets on notice board. Do try a group in another church – share ideas and meet new people as we enrich each other.
Christian Aid – please consider taking a ‘Count Your Blessings’ leaflet this Lent, and journey with your neighbours from around the world. The calendar of reflections, starting on Ash Wednesday, 1st March, offers daily opportunities to give, act and pray for others, and to give thanks for life’s blessings. Julie Ratcliffe.

On Good Friday, St Andrew’s are offering you hot cross buns and coffee at 11.00 am, a short service at 11.20, followed by a Procession with the Cross to the SPAR, Rodney Road, for a service of witness at 11.45 am
Easter Day 6.00 am ‘SonRise’ Communion at Backwell Lake followed by refreshments at Nailsea Methodist Church.
