Lent Lunches: will commence for five weeks from 12.30pm on Wednesdays at St Andrew’s Church House. This will be a frugal lunch of soup, cheese, bread, pickles & coffee, for £3.50. Proceeds to the Nailsea Foodbank. West Town are responsible for the first lunch on 21st February. Please see Julie if you can help.
Lent Groups: will also start during week beginning 18th February, at St Andrews, for five sessions, based around the film I, Daniel Blake – to remind us of the need, injustice and poverty we sometimes avoid.
At West Town, on Friday mornings at 10.30 a.m., we will be offering an alternative course by John Pritchard, called ‘On the Third Day’.
Instead of giving up something this Lent, why not share your Lent journey with your sisters and brothers around the world. The ‘Count your Blessings’ leaflet has daily reflections and gives you the opportunity to donate money to help those most in need.
Please see Julie if you would like a leaflet.
